August 21, 2021, SFGT engineering team conducted a successful high-altitude vehicle-mounted video transmission test in Qinghai

The SFGT engineering team recently conducted a field test of the SFGT-FDD30W, a bi-directional video data transmission network backbone link, at a base in Qinghai, China. The test was designed to evaluate the equipment's performance in high-altitude and low-temperature environments.

The test site, located at an altitude of 4,769 meters, experienced challenging weather conditions, with temperatures as low as -3°C and a mix of overcast and cloudy skies throughout the day. Despite these harsh environmental factors, the SFGT-FDD30W demonstrated its capabilities in delivering stable video and data transmission.

The SFGT-FDD30W is a compact, low power consumption, and efficient bi-directional video data transmission solution designed for applications such as vehicle-mounted, shipboard, and other mission-critical communication links. It leverages COFDM multi-carrier modulation technology to support non-line-of-sight (NLOS) transmission, narrow-band, low-latency, and high-sensitivity long-range applications.

The successful test in Qinghai is a testament to the SFGT-FDD30W's robust design and performance. This equipment will be a valuable asset for customers operating in challenging environments, delivering reliable high-speed data and video transmission capabilities.
